We bought Optricon set, as planned and now we only wait for Eos t-mount. Also received today Canon remote switch. Too bad that it's not the best time of the year to do digiscoping - and there are few great destinations to visit, all The RSPB reserves near London. I wish we could change sites like this huge fields between Ursynow and Wilanow into something useful - bird watching area with hides and centre - like they did in London - instead we just build, build, build - the second terrible temple in Poland and some very posh and boring flats. It's depressing.

Anyway we have decided to spend even more money and finally buy real cook's knife. We go this and special sharpener:

This is Wűsthof Classic Icon Cook's Knife, forget from a single piece of high carbon steel. The difference between this one, and one I was using previously (a cheap santoku from Ikea) is really amazing (and the blade has five special areas each designed for different job) I can't use it properly yet and they didn't want to sell me a sharpening steel ;p but I am very happy and proud to own it right now :D

This is another knife I would like to get from this range:

And maybe :

This, with bread knife, is a proper, basic set for every kitchen.

From other news I have survived driving in London both day and night hours and I am still impressed I didn't wreck the car. Yay. I've also managed to get us safe home driving few hours in night and heavy rain with broken back light on a very very very narrow road. And fellow drivers were unhappy about how slow we were, I mean only 70ml/h on the wet, pitch dark road wtf ? Cheers. We visited - finally - Stonehedge and Glastonbury. And in 3 weeks we have trip to the Bath :-) Life is good even if I am constantly ill since August -.-

PS: The official London launch of "Wrath of the Litch King" is tomorrow ! And we are going ! :-)
